By 1 May, the 2013 initial shortlisting day, sufficient shortlistable entries had been received to identify 55 finalists. This is more than double the number received by the comparable stage in 2012.
April 2013
Two additional 2013 Peer Awards Partners, The Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (ISMM) and e-location are confirmed.
March 2013
The first lunch meeting takes place. Hosted at City & Guilds HQ in Central London, 13 people met and talked about their work, and heard a presentation about the 2013 Peer Awards.
February 2013
The first six entrants shortlisted for the 2013 Peer Awards; AXA, Deloitte, O2, Sanofi, Virgin Media and Vodafone are nominated.
January 2013
Four further 2013 Peer Awards Partners, The Customer Engagement Network, Data HQ, Pure360 and CSRwire are confirmed.

The results of The 2012 Peer Awards for Excellence are announced at a special Champagne Afternoon Tea Ceremony at Royal Horseguards Hotel in London. Attended by around 100 guests, the winners all spoke about their inspirational initiatives and all the finalists were acknowledged and celebrated.
August 2012
Plans for a special supplement for the 2012 Finalists in The Independent newspaper are announced.
July 2012
The venue (The Royal Horseguards Hotel) and date (28th September) for the 2012 Peer Awards Ceremony are announced, and invitations to attend sent out.
June 2012
Entry to the 2012 Peer Awards closes, with 39 Finalists spread evenly across the award themes and the conference days. This is more than double the number of Finalists in 2011, and so a big thank you for all the support.
The 2012 Peer Award Conference takes place, all 39 finalists present and are judged, and we receive some of our highest ratings in the delegate feedback.

The initial conference programme is published featuring 25 Peer Award entries spread across three days. There is still room for further finalists, so expect updates to the programme over the coming months.

The number of entries received for this year’s Peer Awards for Excellence is three times that received by this stage last year, and includes submissions from Bank of America, BP, BUPA, Capgemini, Centrica, Channel 4, Coca Cola Enterprises, Friends Life, Kent County Council, McDonald’s, Parliament, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Turner Broadcasting.
