Corporate Responsibility Award: Educating Young People category

DP World operates marine and inland terminals supported by over 50 related businesses in 40 countries across six continents.

It has developed a Global Education Programme for employees to deliver in local schools as part of their volunteering leave. Working with a specialist agency and consulting with teachers, the content covers a wide range of topics to engage young people in trade and logistics, a little-known and often overlooked part of the global economy.

Corporate Responsibility Award: Educating Young People category

Corporate Responsibility Award: Challenging Stereotypes category

JTI Turkey produces famous tobacco brands in Izmir using oriental tobacco renowned for its aromatic taste.

Their “My Inspiration is My Future” program seeks to improve the situation for women that are under-represented in the labour force and prevented from achieving financial independence because of child marriages and lack of education.
