The 2015 Peer Awards Conference has now taken place. All the shortlisted finalists presented their innovative entries, and hundreds of votes were casted by everyone in the audience.

The award categories are now announced for the 2015 Peer Awards, and we have shortlisted a very strong selection of entries involving over 20 companies.

April 2015
Entries come in at an increasing rate ahead of the 1 May deadline.

March 2015
Three Peer Lunches took place with around twenty people attending each. Everyone reported that they thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to talk about their work with fellow professionals from other sectors, and to find out more about the Peer Awards. Our thanks to the two hosts, Charles Russell Speechlys LLP and Norton Rose Fulbright LLP.

February 2015
The new Voluntary Sector Peer Award is launched. Starting life initially as a Corporate Responsibility award sub-category, this new award will hopefully develop into a category in its own right. It differs from our other awards in that it is open only to a specific sector and focuses on innovative aspects of their organisation’s work in general. We offer packs for this sub-category at greatly reduced fees, or even at no fee, as our way of giving back to and supporting this specific not for profit sector.

January 2015
The first Peer Awards Winners Supplement is published on 12 January in The Independent newspaper, primarily celebrating the 2014 winners, but also including a whole page about this year’s awards.

December 2014
Surrey County Council has been confirmed as The 2015 Peer Awards Conference hosts. View Key Dates for details.

November 2014
For the 2nd year in succession the Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel in Canary Wharf kindly offers to host this year’s Finalists’ Seminar/Workshops on 15th and the 29th May 2015, where the Team provides support and feedback to some of this year’s finalists.

October 2014
The new Internal Peer Awards service is launched.

September 2014
The sixth Peer Awards for Excellence open for entry, with the same three categories as for the previous two years; this year with two supplements in The Independent newspaper that feature all finalists planned, as well as a microsite at The Times website.

The first Peer Awards Winners Supplement is published on 12 January in The Independent newspaper, primarily celebrating the 2014 winners.

October 2014
The results of The 2014 Peer Awards for Excellence are announced at a special Champagne Afternoon Tea Ceremony at the Waldorf Hilton in London. Attended by 110 guests, video extracts of each of the finalists conference talks were shown, the winners were announced and all the finalists were acknowledged and celebrated.

July 2014
The votes have been counted and analysed. The winners have been identified. Plaques are now being prepared for the awards ceremony where the results are announced and the winners celebrated.

June 2014
The 2014 Peer Awards Conference takes place, all the shortlisted finalists present their innovative entries across three separate days, and hundreds of votes are cast by everyone in the audience.

May 2014
The 2014 Peer Awards finalists supplement is published in The Independent newspaper on Thursday 8th May. It features not only the 2014 finalists and the 2013 winners and finalists, but also the first publication of the Innovation Index.
The sumptuous champagne afternoon cream tea 2014 Peer Awards Ceremony will be on the afternoon of Monday 22nd September 2014, again at the stunning Waldorf Hilton London.

April 2014
In addition to the Finalists supplement that we publish in The Independent newspaper ahead of the conference, the Peer Awards winners will now be celebrated in an additional Winners supplement that we plan to publish after the ceremony, giving additional exposure for all our finalists.

Entries continue to come in, and we have received and shortlisted around twice as many as by this time last year, including from British Gas, Capital One, Eversheds, Ikano Bank, MetLife, Migros (Turkey), RBS, Royal College of General Practitioners, Severn Trent Services and Surrey County Council.

A healthy number of early submissions have been received. We have now shortlisted around 50% more entries than by this stage last year, from around twice as many entrants as had submitted by this time last year, including from British Airways & ORConsulting, Coast & Country, Dentsu Aegis Network, Diligent Boardbooks, First Capital Connect, Interface, Napp Pharmaceuticals, Norton Rose Fulbright, Phoenix Futures, Sainsbury’s and Speechly Bircham.

RBS to sponsor a special post-conference showing of England’s final 2014 World Cup qualifying match against Costa Rica for people attending the Corporate Responsibility Final/Conference on Tuesday 24 June.

The Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel in Canary Wharf offers to host this year’s Finalists’ Seminars and Workshops in May, where the Team provides support and feedback to some of this year’s finalists.

The 2013 Peer Awards for Excellence overall Award winners have each agreed to participate with us at the corresponding day of the 2014 Peer Awards Conference.

The venue (Waldorf Hilton) and date (25th October) for the 2013 Peer Awards Ceremony are announced, and invitations to attend sent out.

June 2013
The Peer Awards supplement in The Independent appears on Wednesday 12th, and the 2013 Peer Awards Conference takes place on 26th to 28th June, with 58 finalists presenting.

May 2013
By 1 May, the 2013 initial shortlisting day, sufficient shortlistable entries had been received to identify 55 finalists. This is more than double the number received by the comparable stage in 2012.

April 2013
Two additional 2013 Peer Awards Partners, The Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (ISMM) and e-location are confirmed.

March 2013
The first lunch meeting takes place. Hosted at City & Guilds HQ in Central London, 13 people met and talked about their work, and heard a presentation about the 2013 Peer Awards.

February 2013
The first six entrants shortlisted for the 2013 Peer Awards; AXA, Deloitte, O2, Sanofi, Virgin Media and Vodafone are nominated.

Entry to the 2012 Peer Awards closes, with 39 Finalists spread evenly across the award themes and the conference days. This is more than double the number of Finalists in 2011, and so a big thank you for all the support.
The 2012 Peer Award Conference takes place, all 39 finalists present and are judged, and we receive some of our highest ratings in the delegate feedback.

The initial conference programme is published featuring 25 Peer Award entries spread across three days. There is still room for further finalists, so expect updates to the programme over the coming months.

The number of entries received for this year’s Peer Awards for Excellence is three times that received by this stage last year, and includes submissions from Bank of America, BP, BUPA, Capgemini, Centrica, Channel 4, Coca Cola Enterprises, Friends Life, Kent County Council, McDonald’s, Parliament, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Turner Broadcasting.
